Check out the FREE NASA Selfie App that provides a fun way to start off the school year while learning a little about the Galaxy out there. The app contains 30 images taken by the Spitzer Space Telescope. Take your picture with the app and immediately you are placed in a space suit. Then tap select and swipe to choose from one of the 30 pictures available for your background. Don’t like the one you picked? You can continue to swipe until you find just the right one. Each background includes a small description about the picture. The pictures are beautiful and can provide a great way to launch a unit of study on astronomy or space.
